So way back when New Moon came out me and a couple of my friends stayed up late to watch it at midnight. We went to Applebees before for some dinner and then headed over to the theater. Luckily they let us wait for the movie in the theater so we could at least sit down. It was fun to be with the girls but the movie just wasn't as good as the book. I wish they would have picked someone else for Jacob, but of course they didn't get my opinion first. Oh well it was still fun.

FREEDOM!!!
Well the day finally came, Clint is done with school for a whole month! He had his last final and came zooming home jumping for joy! In fact it was so fast that he forgot to give his friend a ride home who had asked him before his test, but after he figured out he had forgotten him he went back. We had a whole day planned of movies and food and relaxing but last night we bough a Wii so we have pretty much been spending our day glued to that. Most of his classmates had huge plans at the bar but since we don't drink, we had to find our own way to relax and celebrate the freedom.
Clint feels like he did well on his finals but he won't know how well he did until the 5th of January so he gets to spend his holiday vacation wondering how he did. He's just happy that he did his best and feels like he knows what he needed to know. Good job Clint, I am so proud of you!
We're getting really excited for our trip home to Utah. We leave on Tuesday and get to stay until January 5th! Clint is a little worried that it will be too long of a time with nothing to do, but I'm sure the time will fly by before we know it and our days will be so full we'll be wishing for break.
I still have Thanksgiving and other things I need to blog about, but that's not going to happen tonight, so hopefully while I'm in Utah I can get caught up on that. Merry Christmas to everyone and have a safe and happy Holidays.

Funniest Story You Will Ever Hear!
Ok so I do have things I want to write about Thanksgiving but this just happened 5 minutes ago and I have to write about it now before I forget. (But most likely I'll never forget this one!)
So I asked Clint to bring up our Christmas stuff from the garage. He was on his last trip up the stair and I was waiting for him on the 3rd floor opening the fire door for him. I heard him walk up the steps, open the door to the second floor and try and open the neighbors door that lives right below us. Well of course the door was locked so he starts knocking, and knocking and finally the scared to death women opens the door as Clint yells, "Why did you lock the door?" (thinking he was talking to me). By this time he has finally figured out that he is in the wrong place and before he can say sorry she slammed to door in his face. All along I am laughing as loud as I can (which isn't very loud because I have lost my voice from being sick). I tried to yell to him when he started knocking on the door but he didn't hear me. Oh it was so funny! He came up laughing and I'm sure a little embarrassed. We'll have to make sure our Christmas gift to our downstairs neighbor is especially good this year so she won't put a restraining order on Clint. Hope you had as good as laugh as I did!
More posts to come.

Happy Anniversary to Us!
Well I can't believe that 8 years ago yesterday (November 16th) we got married. It has been such an amazing 8 years and I defiantly love Clint more now than I did back then. If someone would have asked me where you think you'll be in 8 years, I would have never thought we would be where we are now.
-I thought that we would have for sure had a couple kids by now and never would have thought that having kids would be such a difficult thing.
-I never thought we would have a dog that I would love so much and treat like a child.
-I wouldn't have guessed that I would have changed careers (really because I thought I would just be a mom who did hair at home).
-I NEVER would have guessed that we would be living in Akron Ohio where Clint would attend law school.
-I never would have thought that we would loose one of our parents.
-I never would have dreamed that we would have such great friends.
-And most importantly, despite all of our trials - that we'd be so blessed.
We had a great day of celebrating our special day. Clint was unfortunately sick so he didn't go to his class that day, (Oh darn ;)) so we spent the day sleeping in, going out to lunch, a little shopping, relaxing at home watching the Unit, and then latter we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse (my favorite is still Ruby River) and then ended the night with bowling and watching a movie that turned out to be better than we thought it would be. It was called The Accidental Husband.
I'm so thankful to be married to Clint, he has been such a support to me and I just love him so much. I couldn't have picked a better man to marry. He's so good to me and is so mindful of my needs. Thanks for being married to me Clint, and I can't wait to share another 60 plus years with you!

Our First Guests!
Well Clint said that the day would never come and that we would never have visitors, so we wouldn't need to buy a guest bed. Well last week I proved him wrong! Our good friends from Spanish Fork came to visit us. We weren't the only reason they came but I like to pretend that we were so I can feel more loved. :) Unfortunately we didn't have a lot of time to do anything with them. They had a wedding in Columbus on Saturday so we really only had Saturday night and part of Sunday that we could play. It was still lots of fun to visit and it felt like old times. Thanks again Nick and Tamsin for coming to visit, we sure loved having you here.
Here is Nick and Tamsin in the comfy new bed (You could sleep here too if and only if you come to see us! :))
We decided to head to Kirtland Sunday before their flight because Nick had never been there. Jax got to go and do his favorite thing, stick his head out the window. I'll never understand him, he likes this, but hates getting his fur blow dried.

Ohio Has Kept us Busy!
Yes I have been very bad about adding post to the blog, but it's too late now and I have to catch up sometime, so here it goes...again.
The Towpath:
This is my new favorite place to walk. It is this really beautiful walking trail that is really close to my house. Jax loves to go, of course, and he has met a lot of friends on the trail.
Cake Bites:
One night for Relief Society Heather taught us how to make these really cute cake bites. They were so yummy and were so fun and easy to make.
So fall is my favorite time of year and I have been looking forward to it since we got to Ohio. There are so many trees and when they started to change colors you would never believe how gorgeous it is. The pictures don't do it justice and I didn't take any pictures when the colors were really vibrate and pretty. I meant to but I didn't think about it until I was driving on the freeway at 70 mph and I don't think it would have been very safe to grab my camera from my purse and start shooting photos. You'll just have to come visit us next fall if you want to full effect.
These pictures are of our back yard. It is what I get to look at every time I look out the windows. Depressing uh? :)

Ok, so this one is when we were driving. Clint was driving so we were ok. Sorry about the cars but you can still see all the tress behind them.
The John Johnson Farm:
Clint was so nice and took off an entire Saturday of studying and we went to the John Johnson Farm in Hiram Ohio. It was a gorgeous day and there was such an amazing spirit there. It's just so fun being so close to so many church history sites where so many things happened.
Here is the Johnson's house.

This is the room where Joseph Smith and Sidney Rigdon saw a vision of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father when they were translating the Bible.

The Zips Game:
Later that night we attended our first (and probably last) Akron Football game. It was a cold night and even though we dressed warm, we were kind of bored and tired so we left after the first half.
P.J. Party:
One Friday night one of my friends had a little girls night. We played some games and ate yummy food and here are only a few pictures I took.
Krystal's mom and Katy. When we first got there Krystal's mom was dressed up like this, acting like a fake stuffed old lady. Then she would slowly scare people. It was really funny.
The Oddish Village, I mean Amish Village:
One Saturday Lindsey and I went to a couple of the Amish Villages that are an hour away. Clint was studying and Andy was in DC at a conference. We had a blast and the scenery was of course beautiful.
The petting area. I opted to stay outside and not get all dirty, but this little goat wouldn't leave me alone.
Lindsey and I, we were trying to get the pretty trees behind us, but I guess they were too far away.
Amish Day with Clint:
So a couple days after Lindsey and I went Clint was home from school sick. So I talked him into going to the Amish county with me so he could see how beautiful it is. Here are some pictures from that.
Jax and Laundry:
So the other night I was folding Laundry and Jax loves to sleep in clean laundry. Well he was tired and wouldn't go to bed so instead he got on the hard table and slept in the folded laundry. It was pretty funny.
