Happy Anniversary to Us!

Well I can't believe that 8 years ago yesterday (November 16th) we got married. It has been such an amazing 8 years and I defiantly love Clint more now than I did back then. If someone would have asked me where you think you'll be in 8 years, I would have never thought we would be where we are now.

-I thought that we would have for sure had a couple kids by now and never would have thought that having kids would be such a difficult thing.

-I never thought we would have a dog that I would love so much and treat like a child.

-I wouldn't have guessed that I would have changed careers (really because I thought I would just be a mom who did hair at home).

-I NEVER would have guessed that we would be living in Akron Ohio where Clint would attend law school.

-I never would have thought that we would loose one of our parents.

-I never would have dreamed that we would have such great friends.

-And most importantly, despite all of our trials - that we'd be so blessed.

We had a great day of celebrating our special day. Clint was unfortunately sick so he didn't go to his class that day, (Oh darn ;)) so we spent the day sleeping in, going out to lunch, a little shopping, relaxing at home watching the Unit, and then latter we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse (my favorite is still Ruby River) and then ended the night with bowling and watching a movie that turned out to be better than we thought it would be. It was called The Accidental Husband.

I'm so thankful to be married to Clint, he has been such a support to me and I just love him so much. I couldn't have picked a better man to marry. He's so good to me and is so mindful of my needs. Thanks for being married to me Clint, and I can't wait to share another 60 plus years with you!

Sadly we aren't as cute as we use to be, I wish I could go back to how I looked then.

Us at Texas Roadhouse

Clint's great bowl.

He only missed one, right in the middle.

Yes I most defiantly am not a professional.

See all those pins I missed?

But a miracle happened and on the second game I won Clint! I think that was the best score I have ever gotten, sad I know!

Happy Anniversary!! That means it's 8 years since we met the most wonderful neighbors ever! You guys still have first place on that...pretty sure you can't ever be beat. :) Life sure is funny the way it decides to take us sometimes. I'm so glad you guys are doing well in Ohio. Make sure Clint checks out law firms in Boise when you guys get done. ;)

Jen, you are just as cute now if not cuter! Nate and I too have experienced the struggles of trying to get pregnant, so I can totally understand where you are coming from. You guys look great and sound so happy! I wish my first year in Iowa was as easy as yours is looking!

What a great tribute to 8 years of marriage! Holy cow, 8 years. What a journey! And you guys are OBVIOUSLY more in love than ever - which is great fun for those of us on the outside to witness. :)

And what are you talking about!? You are both still incredibly adorable! (clint in a rugged, manly way, of course!) You both have some of the best smiles I've ever seen.

And are those platform sneakers under your wedding dress?

Happy Anniversary guys! It is crazy that we have no idea what life is going to throw at us. I don't know anyone who got what they expected. :)

Happy Anniversary to you guys! Looks like yall had a really fun day! I love when Andrew skips class (even if it is just because he's sick). It's always more fun to have a buddy to spend the day with, especially on your anniversary!
