The Cabin

Here is the next thing that I'll miss when we move. The Cabin at Fairview Lakes, even though we don't make it up there too often (we'll probably go more now once we move). My family has had this property for...20 years maybe, and it has always been a great place with lots of memories attached to it.

Clint allowed us to go one more time before we left, so that's what we did for our 4th of July weekend. I usually don't take a lot of pictures of the scenery, but this time it was SO beautiful and now when I get a little homesick, I can look back on these pictures and feel like I am at home.

Clint, Jax and me at the top of the mountain looking down at the lake.

These guys aren't all in the same family, but they are the ones that came on the 4-wheeler ride with us, so this is who got to be in the picture. Hailey, Caleb and Zach.

It was so green and pretty up there, even the wild flowers were in bloom.

Some of the family fishing.

Now this isn't something that you see everyday. Clint fishing! He really wasn't fishing, he HATES fishing and he is holding the reason why in his hands, a tangle

Jax was trying to fish, but he wimped out and wouldn't jump in. Good thing because I don't know if he would be able to swim in such cold water.

The view of Fairview Lakes. We were on top of the ridge above the lake in the earlier picture.

Zach just so happy that Clint is getting out the tangle instead of him.

Mom, Doug and Afton in the boat.

Me, Hailey and Libby in the boat.

Drive way up to the cabin.

And the Cabin

The huge swing my dad and brothers made

And "The Condo" It is actually the generator shed, but before the cabin was build, this is were we slept in the winter and it some how got the name "The Condo." Probably because it's so huge and spacious :)

Farewell to the cabin, I'll see you again when I visit. Take good care of it family. I'll miss you all!

I loved your cabin too. I was at camp Shalom last week and thought of you as we passed the turnoff...then again when I wanted to sneak down for a shower! He he he. That was very naughty of us, but oh, how nice! It was VERY green and lovely up there. It will be a lovely way to remember it.
