I Spoke Too Soon!

So you could probably tell in my last post that I wasn't too happy about my new job. Poor Clint, all he heard for 3 LONG days was complaints, crying, and some more complaining. Today when I woke up sick, my sweet husband said to me, "Don't go to work, I want you to quit." I felt really bad about quitting on my 4th day of work, but I really wanted to. I did something that I have never done before in my life - I didn't give a two week notice and I called in and said that I would not be returning to work.

I feel really bad that I won't be working but I have just had a miserable couple days and I know it was because of work, so hopefully now things will be better. Now the plan is to get things ready so I can start school in January. I am SO excited. Thanks to everyone who congratulated me on my job, hopefully you all won't think of me as a slacker. Ending in a good note, yeah for fall!

You are in such a transitional period right now! I'm glad you stopped working there because you shouldn't be miserable no matter what. It totally reminds me of the time when I applied to work at a rest home, and I worked all of one day washing dishes before Robin convinced me to quit. I am sure things will get better when you go back to school and have a solid direction. Good Luck!

BRAVO! I am glad that you quit since you were so miserable. Double yeah for school. I hope getting all of that stuff together goes well.

Good for you! That is so hard when you already have so many changes going on in your life. Keep your chin up! :)

Jen! I have done that more than once in my life :) hahaha! Sometimes you just need to be done with lame jobs even if you haven't worked there very long. (When we lived in Utah I walked out on my lunch break the first day and never came back haha!) I hope you are adjusting to Ohio. I know when we moved to Iowa the first year was one of the hardest in my whole life. I promise it will get better. Maybe we can meet half way sometime and do something fun!
